Follow by the bike trip in Lake Chuzenji,Nikko in (Ch.1) and (Ch.2). Here is the Day-2 journey. Although it is dim, cloudy day on the second day in Nikko, somehow this lighting matches the tone of the forest.

7:15①Akanuma赤沼 → 8:02 Odashirogahara Moor小田代原
6:15, I went out in the very early morning and took the earliest bus to Akanuma from Nikko Station.
7:15, getting off the bus, walk from the main road to the Akanuma赤沼 bus terminal nearby and wait for the minibus(Click here for details) to Odashirogahara Moor小田代原.
There will not be an audio reminder when the bus arrives Odashirogahara Moor小田代原. But do not worry, just simply look at the picture down below and bear it in mind. Just walk to the observation deck in front of the bus stop and that it is.
8:37 Odashirogahara Moor小田代原 → 8:50①Akanuma赤沼
Returned to where you get off and get on the bus to go back to Akanuma赤沼. There will be two bus stopping there facing opposite direction. Be careful not to get on the wrong bus, which comes from Akanuma赤沼. 8:50,
8:59①Akanuma赤沼 → 9:05②Sambommatsu三本松(Senjogahara Moor Viewpoint戦場ヶ原展望台)
When you get off, immediately walk to the bus stop on the main road and wait for the bus going to Sambommatsu三本松. After that, you will see a banner near the bus stop directing to the Senjogahara Moor Viewpoint戦場ヶ原展望台. Follow it, go upstairs and that it is.

Conclusion for the Lake Chuzenji,Nikko trip
Besides suggesting staying near Chuzenji Onsen area, I also recommend spending at least two whole days in Nikko to enjoy without rushing. There seems to be some delicate and nice Cafe, restaurant. Nikko Toshogu日光東照宮 is also a famous temple. But I do not have enough time and it is shown that the autumn leaves there had not reached a peak yet.
Besides, there are much more places like Hangetsuyama Observation Deck半月山展望台, Kammangafuchi Gorge憾満ヶ淵, Takinoo Shrine滝尾神社…etc. But I have to give them up just for the Colored Lake in Fukushima Prefecture, my next destination.

Access to Nikko, transportation in Nikko (Choose 1 from the 2)
- Various JR East Japan pass (e.g.5-days Tohoko Area pass ¥19000) + 2-days Bus free pass
- 4-days Nikko All Area Pass
Choice(1.) is suitable for those who are going to somewhere else in East Japan area as well. It takes 45mins by Shinkansen train from Ueno上野(in Tokyo) to Utsunomiya宇都宮. Follow by 50mins of the train to Nikko日光. Right after you arrive, RMB to buy the bus pass.(You have to!). Basically, the pass is already worth it even you just take a round-trip to the Chuzenji Onsen for once. Pass covering Chuzenji Onsen is sold at ¥2000, and that covering Senjogahara Moor area is sold at ¥2650.
Choice(2.) suitable for those who mainly travel in Nikko and Tokyo. It takes 2hrs from Asakusa(浅草) in Tokyo to Nikko by Tobu Railway. You don’t have to but the bus pass afterward since Nikko all area pass has already cover the transportation from Tokyo to Nikko and the buses in Nikko.
