Hirosaki Castle Park in Aomori, Tohoku-autumn leaves
I only spent one day in Aomori Prefecture, and yes, it is really short and rushes journey. On that day, I only had time to visit Hirosaki Castle Park弘前城公園 in Hirosaki City弘前市(This post), and Nakano Momijiyama中野もみじ山 in Kuroishi City.(Click here)

Time I stayed: 2.5hrs(daytime) ; 1.5hrs(at night)
Ticket price: JPY 310(exclude the botanical garden)／JPY 5xx(include ..), I suggest to visit it as well if you do have time

Hirosaki Castle Park in the morning
Hirosaki Castle Park is well-known for the cherry blossom scenery in spring. The view in autumn is also stunning. If I did not come here and see those autumn leaves by myself, I will not believe the bright rich red color of it either. It is just like using photoshop to adjust “Saturation” into +100 LOL.
Hirosaki Park hold autumn-leaves-festival every year. There will be a series of events and botanical garden exhibition. The day I got there, it was on the period when an huge apple artwork was showing. It was built up with more than 30,000 apples. I could smell the scent of sweet apple in front of it.
Aomori prefecture is famous or producing apples. Be sure to buy one when you come here!~ A huge and sweet apple was just sold for JPY128, definitely cheap and worth it. I could not tell if the apple was too big, or my face was too small……
Hirosaki Castle Park at night
I came back from Nakano Momijiyama中野もみじ山 and went to Hirosaki Park again. This is the one and only autumn-leaves-light-up attractions of my whole 5-days autumn-leaves-trip for that time. That is why the night view really leaves an unforgettable impression on my mind.
There are very few people there so it was actually a little bit creepy and scary, But for this reason, you can use a tripod as you want since it will not disturb anyone. As I know, some autumn-leaves-light-up attractions may restrict visitors from using a tripod. But how can someone take any nice pictures without a tripod at night?
