While attractions for other people do not necessarily seem to be interesting to you. Or sometimes we may want to explore places that are less common. Do the massive information on the internet confuse you?
Here are 7 Japan local website I used the most. They mainly introduce stunning scenery all over Japan, help you to explore seasonal attractions. You will be loving it if you like photography or enjoy visiting beautiful places.
( Some of the sites are in multi-languages, but some are only available in Japanese. No worry! With the help of google translate, it won’t be a problem even if you can’t read a single Japanese word. Just paste the URL of the website and you can browse the whole translated version of the page. )
1. Zekkei Japan
- Languages: Japanese, English, Chinese
- search contents by various elements, e.g. month, seasons, theme, district, photos…etc.
- frequent updates with thematic articles, seasonal journey recommendations
- with details of the attractions, e.g. official site link, transport information
- various tours are held sometimes
2. Pixpot
- Language: Japanese only
- high quality photos
- with travels and tips written by professional photographers after their field trip
- Time-lapse videos

- a social platform for photographers. Anybody can sign up but the quality of the photos is pretty high
- photos with EXIF data for reference, e.g. shutter speed, aperture value

- Languages: Japanese only

- not many attractions are included, mainly featured spots
